Hizir's Special Gifts

We were in the earthquake-stricken regions of Kahramanmaras and Malatya, where the consequences of the devastating earthquake two years ago remain clearly visible. Large parts of the affected areas are still marked by destruction. Damaged and uninhabitable houses, unstable living conditions and ongoing hardship continue to shape everyday life.

Many families are still living in containers, often under difficult conditions. During our visit, the cold was intense, and adequate heating or sufficient warm clothing was frequently lacking. These circumstances make daily life particularly challenging, especially for families and vulnerable individuals. The long-term effects of the earthquake are still deeply felt, both physically and emotionally, and the traces of this disaster can still be seen everywhere.

We are grateful that, thanks to your support, we were able to be present in these regions and offer practical help. Through the distribution of food supplies, warm clothing and financial assistance, we aimed to provide relief and bring moments of support and encouragement. Being able to bring even a small sense of hope and comfort to people affected by the earthquake means a great deal to us.
